This unique beach hideaway is nestled among the trees in Netarts, close to all the amenities of town but secluded by the surrounding forest. The pristine beach along Netarts Bay, with the Pacific just beyond, lies just a five minute walk away along a rugged hiking trail.
You'll be able to enjoy beautiful views of the ocean from the outdoor deck, and hear the small creek running along one side of the house. You might even catch a glimpse of a resident blue heron or bald eagle flying overhead. This special vacation home truly provides all the modern comforts of home in the middle of a natural wonderland!
The house recently completed a full renovation, with a new second-story studio and garage accessible via an outdoor staircase or through the garage and is fully handicap accessible. This makes Cherie's Place ideal for a two-family vacation, or any group that would like a little extra privacy as well as plenty of room to socialize together. The main house is accessible via a long ramp, which makes it really easy for someone with a wheelchair to both socialize with everybody else on the main level or enjoy their own quiet and private upstairs unit.
In the main house, an open great room provides a place for everyone to gather together for meals or a movie night. In the living area, a soft leather sofa and upholstered armchairs provide plenty of cozy seating before the flat-screen cable TV with DVD player.
The kitchen is fully equipped with updated appliances (including a dishwasher for easy clean-up), although you'll certainly want to enjoy at least one meal at Netarts' beloved The Schooner, a classic seafood restaurant with a laid-back bar, just a 10 minute walk away!
The 750 square-foot main floor has two bedrooms and a beautifully tiled full bath. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has twin with pull-out trundle; the living room's sofa pulls out to a full-sized sleeper for extra guests.
The upstairs 500 square-foot studio makes a perfect spot for a second couple, with its own king-sized bed and living area with comfortable seating before a flat-screen TV. The studio has been designed especially for guests using a wheelchair, including an accessible bathroom and ramp access between floors. This special space has two reclining leather chairs, a small sofa, and wetbar area. There is no access from the inside the house from one level to another, which makes each level very private on its own. The views of the Pacific from the upper-level studio are the best in the house!
This retreat has been outfitted with all the amenities you could desire on your Netarts getaway, including a charcoal grill on the ocean-view deck, wireless Internet access, a washer/dryer, and plenty of space in the garage for covered parking and storing fishing gear. Bring along your four-legged family members: for just a $10 nightly pet fee, they can explore the forested hillside, splash in the creek below, and run along the sandy beach each morning.
Cherie's Place is centrally located in Netarts, but feels much more secluded thanks to its surrounding canopy of trees and babbling creek. Guests can walk to into town, where a few small shops and quaint restaurants provide just enough "civilization" without being touristy.
Follow the wooded hiking path down the hill, where a small creek babbles along before emptying onto the beach. In addition to soothing beach strolls, opportunities abound for clamming and crabbing, hiking, boating, fishing, and much more!
