So, you're tired from a day on the slopes at Skibowl or Mount Hood Meadows. Pull into the garage of this stately home with its bay windows and shake shingle roof, and you'll immediately feel at home. But that's just the beginning. Take off your shoes and warm your toes by the quaint woodstove resting in its own stone alcove like a slumbering servant waiting to be aroused. And that's just a part of the charm and features of this private and beautiful home in Welches. Only the birds will be able to see the fairways all around you, and the Sandy and Salmon Rivers on either side beckoning with fishing and water sports.
With room for eight, Moss Mountain has lots of great features. Step into the back and you'll find an enormous, newly stained deck surrounded by beautiful landscaping and old growth trees. Enjoy a meal outside or just watch the flora and fauna from the patio furniture with seating for four.
You'll feel right at home in Moss Mountain's comfortable living room with its comfortable chairs and big windows that let in lots of sunlight. Grab a magazine, settle into the chair by the wood stove and put your feet up on the ottoman. It's the perfect place to wait to hear the chef call "come and get it!"
