Perched 40' above the edge of the beach, this oceanfront/beachfront home offers incredible views of the surf. You are so close to the water you can hear the waves indoors even when the windows are closed.

The main floor has an open living room, dining room, and kitchen, all with great views of the surf. There is also a full bathroom with a shower on this level. The master bedroom is on the upper floor, and has a private balcony, a king water bed, a walk in closet, and an attached bathroom. The upper floor also offers a sitting area with incredible views of the surf. This room is perfect for playing a game or doing a puzzle, and it also has two twin size Murphy beds that fold down from the wall. A beautifully decorated daylight basement offers an extra half bathroom, a comfortable seating area, and two queen beds. Amenities of this home offers a gas grill, cable and wireless internet.

This home is situated on a beautiful stretch of sandy beach that extends 3 miles in either direction. While this home is on the bluff, easy beach access (without stairs) can be found a block to the North or South.

This home is a five minute walk from delicious food at the Side Door Cafe. Salishan Golf and Spa Resort is only a mile away and offers 18 holes of golf, a highly reviewed spa, and several shops and dining options. Depoe Bay - the world's smallest navigatable harbor - is a beautiful location only 6 miles to the South, and offers a variety of shops and restaurants along with sea geysers that spout 60 feet into the air. Lincoln City, with activities ranging from glass blowing to the Chinook Wind's Casino is 6 miles to the North, and the Oregon Coast Aquarium is 20 miles to the South.

A quirky, comfortable house with lots of beds and perfect views. While the decor style might be a little dated, that shouldn't hurt the experience. It was very clean, very well laid out for larger groups, and views that you come to the beach for.

Our experience and stay at Vacasa's Neptune Oceanfront Beach House in Gleneden Beach was supurb! Everything from the online reservation, confirmation emails, directions, early check in notification, and beautiful home we stayed in was wonderful. The beach access was close by and the amazing windows and deck to watch the ocean from was outstanding. I highly recommend this house and Vacasa thanks to the wonderful experience my party had. I will be sure to use them again in the future.

This home has an amazing view! There are some odd things to the architecture, such as the stairs to the basement but overall nothing too uncomfortable. I would suggest bringing a music player as there is nothing provided in the home.The kitchen is very well equipped, even the coffee provided was yummy. This was a pleasant surprise as we were expecting Folgers or something else equally bad. Our trip was lovely and very relaxing. Thank you.

This was a short weekend trip, next time we will stay longer. Home has great view, and location. Would be nicer if you could access deck from living area, but not that big of a deal. Nice flat screen TVs. Bring "S" video cable if you want to watch movies on the TV from your computer. The captain out front is no longer carrying a light, and is kind of creepy looking. I would either fix him, by adding a lantern or take him down. The dog growled at him! I would definitely stay here again. Manager Response: Thank you for your input. We really do appreciate it and are so glad you had a great weekend! We will get the Captain's lantern fixed right away - we do not want to upset our furry friends.

The house is in a great location, has gorgeous views, was clean and has relatively easy access to the beach. Vacasa was great to work with. The reason we would not recommend the house is related to the season we were there. We, a family of five, went for Thanksgiving week. While we had a great time, there were a few issues with the house that would keep us from going back during this time of year. Yes, the start of the week was quite stormy and the power going out for 24 hours was no ones fault. However, most of the week had typical late November weather, which proved a challenge for the home's heating system and the windows overlooking the ocean steamed up substantially when the weather turned cool. Two of the five beds are on the lower level, which never warmed up enough for us to use the space other than to dash to the beds and shiver until they warmed up. Recommend a decent space heater for the lower level. This would be a spectacular place to stay in warmer weather. Manager Response: We thank you so much for the input and are glad you had a great time in spite of the stormy weather. We will look into adding a more efficient space heater as well.

There really needs to be a sliding door from the house to the deck. Having to go outside to access the deck is strange and inconvenient. None of the oceanside windows open so you can't get any fresh air in the house or even wire some music to listen to on the deck. The stairway that leads to the musty downstairs is definitely not to code. So narrow, I could barely get down it. There is no table on the deck and if you want to use their BBQ, you have to do so in the driveway. The upstairs bed is a waterbed. It probably always will be - I don't see how they possibly got it in there, or how they could get it out. The positives were that the deck and view were very nice, and Vacasa was easy to work with. Also note that Google maps this location incorrectly, so just follow the instructions you will receive from Vacasa.

We enjoyed our stay on Gleneden Beach. Very nice view from the house. It would have been nice to have access to the deck from the family room but we loved all the glass for viewing. All the conveniences we needed were there. Looks like a new dishwasher is in the unit and it worked great. We would consider renting this home again.

problematic oven, found fireplace full of ashes, dishwasher broken, old/dated decor, waterbed in master bedroom turned us off. Perfect view, convenient location. Wished there was a covered deck for the ocean view side. Manager Response: Thank you for your review and suggestions, we removed the ashes from the fireplace - that is on our housekeeping checklist so it should have been done prior to your arrival so we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We are working on repairing or replacing the dishwasher as well. We hope to have you back again soon!

We selected this home primarily because it has an incredible ocean view for a reasonable price, and is pet-friendly. Going to the Oregon Coast in winter means low chances of enjoying a day building sand castles, so we wanted to at least be able to SEE the ocean. We were not disappointed with the wall of windows overlooking the waves. (We actually arrived during an unusual bout of SNOW so that was an interesting sight). The house itself is nothing to write home about. The floor plan is a little odd, for example the staircase to basement is very narrow/steep, there is no access to main back/view deck from house-you have to go out the front door and around. You can sleep a lot of people comfortably, but be aware that the Master bedroom has a waterbed, which we found very unusual for a rental property. The entire place could really benefit from remodeling and updating: fresh paint and carpet would brighten it up. Overall, however, it was comfortable, mostly clean, and once again, the view is unbeatable. Beach access is 2-3 blocks away, fine for a lovely walk. Nice to be between Lincoln City and Newport with Depoe Bay along the way. We found the best clam chowder at the Sea Hag restaurant on Hwy 101 in Depoe Bay.

We finally allowed ourselves to take a whole week off at one time, away from our residence! Goal: do nothing and enjoy it. Outcome: we did nothing and had a great time! The house is in such a great location with the roaring ocean right there. It is an older home, could use some updates...but only if YOU lived there. I certainly wouldn't if I was renting the house out. Great bones. The stairwells are interesting...very narrow. We were a little leery of the waterbed since my husband has a bad back, but we both slept better than we have in months. Gleneden Beach is a great location, right in between everything. Can't wait to go back next year!! But we will bring our own wine glasses!

No matter what kind of weather you encounter, this is the perfect place.....fabulous view & fireplace for stormy conditions and easy access to sandy beach for those nice, long sunny walks. Ocean at this part of the coast is magnificent.....great place to reassess priorities and get a firm perspective of our relevance in the world (compared to the ocean, we are pretty small). Loved it!!

The place was clean, but very dated, blankets, pillows were old, tired looking, funky smell in the house. Views were outstanding, but why is there not access from the main living area onto the deck? You have to go out the front door, and around to the side to access deck. Windows are either very dirty or very old. Next time we will look for a more modern place.

The view was beautiful, just as described.We were surprised to have a water-bed. It was not stated so hard on my back.Everything else was very nice.That bed really shoud be replaced as it is hard to get in and out of. Plus there would be no other choice, so you made it work. A hamock would be nice.

The beach was great, low key and not busy. It would have been nice to have a stairway from the house to the beach. Was not a fan of the waterbed in the master, and I don't remember it being mentioned in the description. The overall layout was a bit strange, and very outdated. With that said the deck was great, and the living room area couldn't have had a better view. I probably wouldn't stay in this house again, but would visit Gleneden another time.

We enjoyed the house very much. Would suggest rearranging the furniture on main floor so that the beach is the main view - with all those windows it is a shame to have back of couch facing them. Would also prefer a more comfy couch on main floor. Kids loved the murphy beds, downstairs was gorgeous. And the decks were all very nice. Overall the view was the most amazing feature.

Except for problems getting into the building due to a corroded entrance lock and latch assembly and problems with the TV DVD system the place was perfect. A few squirts of WD-40 made the door quite useable. The TV system worked fine once you figured out that it was improperly connected.

But for one small thing, I would rate this home as the best beach rental we have stayed in, and we rent a different house at the coast roughly 2-3 times a year. My only tiny complaint, and it is miniscule, is 70's era technology. We all had our i-pods and nothing to plug them into. We do carry adapters, in case the place we are staying has a (gasp!) cassette-only stereo system, but this house has an 8-track system, although it too has an adapter to adapt it to a cassette player. I feel I have spent too much time complaining about this, because if you don't care about listening to music, there are three great t.v's, cable t.v., all t.v.'s have DVD players. But why watch t.v. when the most incredible view is outside. I loved the big open "great room" feel of the living, dining, and kitchen area. All along that whole huge area are 4-5 huge windows that face the ocean. The couch in the downstairs area, a sectional, actually, is the most comfortable piece of furniture I have ever sat on. If

We had a great weekend at the Gleneden beach house. Spent lots of time on the deck watching the waves. Property manager was great when I had to call upon arriving because there were no working lights downstairs and the fuse box was "hidden". The only complaints about the house are the poorly stocked kitchen and that no matter how high we turned up the heat, it was almost unbearable cold in the basement bedroom/living area.

A wonderful house in a wonderful location. We loved just sitting and watching the ocean and walking on the beach. Excellent Internet service. Next time, we'll bring a few more condiments (cooking oil, spices). Having instructions for using the cable and DVD player would have been helpful as well. Tidal Raves restaurant in Depoe Bay was excellent, as was the Side Door Cafe in Gleneden Beach (although a bit more pricey). And the Beach Dog Cafe in Lincoln City for breakfast!
