This lovely three-bedroom vacation is nestled in a quiet neighborhood near the south end of Lincoln City, close to beautiful Siletz Bay. Just a block from the shoreline, you can enjoy all the conveniences of home and a tremendous view from the deck. Now featuring a brand new hot tub, you can relax in style as you soak up the fresh ocean air!
Sit in this spacious and bright living area, and you're confronted with a tough choice: to settle in with a book or your laptop (free WiFi) and savor the comfort of the plush leather furniture, or head out on the gorgeous deck that runs the full length of the house, take a deep breath of ocean air, and absorb the magnificent view of the Pacific framed by tall pines. On those chilly coastal nights, make some popcorn, flip on the gas fireplace, and slide a movie into the DVD player.
Lincoln City is so full of great places to eat (68), you could easily dine out for every meal, enjoying everything from fresh seafood to bacon and eggs. No need, though. Anchor House has a full modern kitchen with everything your cook will need, from a microwave for that quick snack to a full course meal. Grind your own beans and savor a fresh cup of morning Joe. There's also a dishwasher for easy clean up.
With three comfy bedrooms the Anchor House will sleep up to 10. There's a large bedroom on the main level with a queen bed. In the living room there is a queen-size sofa sleeper. Please note: The stairs to the lower level are outside the house, a fact to consider when planning where the kids will sleep. Otherwise, it's perfect for that second couple who'd relish the privacy. On the lower level you'll find one private bedroom with a king bed and another private bedroom with a queen bed. The queen bedroom also has a sitting area with a queen-size sofa bed and a flat screen TV and there is even a wet bar that makes it the perfect place for a second couple to unwind!
Not only is Lincoln City a great place to play, it's also full of things to learn! When you're done cavorting on sand and sea, head inland and hone your culinary skills at the Culinary Center, lend your own breath to a piece of blown glass at one of the glass art studios, or take a class in photography, ceramics, watercolors, block printing, acrylics, drawing and mosaics at the Lincoln City Cultural Center, Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, and The Artists' Studio Association.
And, of course, there's plenty of stuff to do outdoors! Take a guided eco-tour in a kayak or a hike on one of six trails in the area that will take you from forest to beach. There's golfing at Salishan Resort (about five minutes south) or Chinook Winds Golf Resort (about 15 minutes north) and swimming, basketball, and indoor rock climbing at Lincoln City Rec. Center.
