This two bedroom, two bathroom house is located in one of the Oregon Coast's hidden gems, sleepy Cape Meares, and is close to some of the most beautiful scenic drives and historic lighthouses in the region.
The charming cottage feels like the perfect beach getaway, with gray shingles outside and warm knotty pine within. The first floor of the house has a cozy kitchen stocked with everything you'll need to prepare meals, and a four-person dining table overlooking the ocean. There's no better spot to curl up with a good book than by the wood stove in the living room, especially on a rainy afternoon. The downstairs bedroom has two twin beds, and there is a full bathroom downstairs as well.
The staircase leads up to a spacious master bedroom loft. There is a comfortable queen bed as well as a twin trundle bed, perfect for a young guest or as a spot to relax and watch a movie on the TV with DVD player (bring some movies to enjoy as there is no cable service). A full bathroom with his-and-her sinks makes sharing the space easy, and the upstairs balcony with gorgeous ocean views will surely be the favorite spot to watch for whales as you enjoy your morning coffee!
The backyard is spacious and offers several decks and a barbecue to make the most of warmer weather. Dogs are welcome with a $10 per night, per pet fee, but please keep them leashed in the yard and pick up after their "outdoor activities" to avoid extra cleaning charges.
Cape Meares is quiet and peaceful, with few services, but restaurants and shops are close by in Oceanside and Tillamook. This is the ideal place to relax with loved ones, work on your book, or use as a home base to explore the rugged cliffs and scenic parks of the Northern Oregon Coast.
