Come and visit charming Manzanita at this cute and quirky vacation home, complete with a cozy turret, lots of skylights, and a delightful outdoor deck. The house is creatively laid out with a number of sleeping solutions, giving everyone in the family their own private nook and space!

This one bedroom home is ideal for a couple or a solo artist's retreat, but can accommodate up to six vacationers! The downstairs level has a well-stocked kitchen with Mediterranean-style tiled floors and a curved wall of oversized windows, allowing plenty of natural light to flow in. Curl up on the cushioned window seats and enjoy the birdwatching that earned the Hummingbird Hill its name!

The living room has skylights and a high-end futon, while the foyer has a comfortable trundle bed. Stay connected to the outside world with cable TV and Internet access, and enjoy the convenience of the house's washer and dryer.

Upstairs, the bedroom has a cozy full bed and the wonderful turret has two chairs that unfold into twin-sized beds. This will definitely be a favorite spot, with windows providing a fantastic view. Settle in with a good book or a movie and enjoy this unique retreat. When you need some fresh air, the outdoor deck has plenty of seating and a Mexican-style chiminea.

Hummingbird Hill is the perfect getaway to enjoy beautiful Manzanita. We loved our stay in Hummingbird Hill. The house is on a nice quiet street backing onto a forest area. Lots and lots of privacy. We appreciate that the owners allow dogs as not all vrbo's do, just be aware that there isn't a fenced yard to let your dog run loose outside. The house is very cute and cozy and everything you could possibly need is supplied for you. The house location is a short driving distance from the main part of Manzanita town. We had hoped it would be closer to allow for our kids to walk there and back, but it's a bit further so a bike ride works better. We don't have any negative comments at all, the only thing we would ask to be changed is a new toaster as the current one only toasts one side and we couldn't figure out how to get the stereo working. Very minor issues. Anybody having major complaints must have impossibly high standards as we loved this little house and plan on returning many times.

It's a cute quirky property, but the only doors that close are to the bathroom and the living room. There is some serious water damage over the bathroom window and sign. dark staining outside below the siding. Looks like potential or current mold situation. The kitchen is cold and rather dark compared to all the light in the rest of the house. We are healing and active in our 40s: the stairs are narrow and steep and the toilet is low with the flusher even lower. It was great for a fun weekend, but not for anything longer. Thank you

This little house is very charming. We really appreciated the ability to bring our dog...although I wouldn't recommend this for folks with small dogs because the outdoor area is very limited. We arrived during a severe storm that knocked out the wi-fi and created a leak in the bathroom. Not only that, but the smoke alarm began chirping in the bedroom on Thanksgiving. However, the Vacasa staff and the house's owner were VERY responsive and friendly and took great care of us to resolve these issues. We loved the tile and the sky lights. Very comfortable home.

The layout was awesome for a small family or a couple. Kids enjoyed the "glass table" in the turret and the large tub was nice. The walk to the beach is all on hills, not fun with a stroller. 6 people would be pushing it...this would best suit 3-4 people. :)

We booked late for the holiday weekend and needed a place that would accept a dog. Overall, this place met our needs, but was not a great layout nor the most comfortable of accommodations. We have a small infant and there was not a quiet place separate from where we slept to have her sleep. It is less than a 10 minute walk to town and the beach, however, and was quiet at night. That was nice.

Wouldn't really recommend this property. Kitchen didn't even have a baking/cookie sheet or a skillet. Had to search for pillows and sheets.Pictures are deceiving - the turret room is tiny because it has a huge glass table which looks down into the kitchen, scary for kids and feels dangerous. A very long walk to the main street - stay some where else!

This is a perfect place for a couple, any more and it woudl be tight. We loved the bright airy ness; all the windows and the cheerful soft colors in the home. No view except for the neighbor's windows, but you just need to walk to the beach for the sunset.

If you are looking for total privacy, this is a nice place. The back faces to woods, and the front is partially obscurred. The kitchen is as the pictures show and is nice and bright. The best feature of this place is the upstairs turret. Perfect for reading or relaxing. If you like quiet days at the beach, reading a good book, you should like this place.

We would have liked to have small table available for eating -- maybe something in the kitchen. Also, the toilet tank was leaking and running frequently, which disrupted an otherwise quiet and peaceful stay. Otherwise it was great!

The home looks exactly like the pictures. The upstairs loft is perfect for reading, the kitchen is gorgeous, and the deck a great place to spend sunny afternoons. I'd highly recommend this place for a solo or couple who wants to spend extended time on the coast in the charming town of Manzinita.

It's on a hill so be prepared if walking to the beach or town, it is uphill on the return all the way. Good exercise. The chair futons for sleeping are most suitable for children. Sofa futon would be good for one person. Trundle bed works great but the pull out bed underneath was uncomfortable. So sleeping arrangements more suitable for couple (queen bed upstairs), one teenage on the trundle and two small kids on the futons upstairs. Kitchen does not have a table but a window box seating. We used the wood folding table in the living room. Suitable for four. I really liked the area the house is in. Quiet yet close to town and the beach. Porch is small but it winds around the house. I would rent it again but not with my 6'4 nephew sleeping on the trundle. He looked uncomfortable.

Hummingbird is in need of a little love. The upstairs bed/frame and linens need updating. The exterior of the home is in bad shape. Needs cleaning. The yard hasn't been cleaned. The front entrance collects mud because water flows straight towards it. The three steps leading to the front porch are not to code, very dangerous. The kitchen is nice. The home electronics are horrible. Every rental should have a way to connect an ipod or iphone. The televisions are extremely outdated. The place just needs some love. We won't be back....had a nice time in Manzanita though.

Very cute place, clean, and eclectic. My only complaint is that it is very difficult to heat the place up during cold weather, as there are only 3 small space heaters. We were wearing winter jackets for hours after our 4pm check-in.

Vacasa was fantastic to work with. Extremely helpful and attentive during the crazy New Year's rush.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Hummingbird Hill with 4 adults and 2 dogs at the end of November. The house is well designed to accommodate multiple people if you're willing to share 1 bathroom. The design is attractive with many windows and skylights to brighten even dreary days. Reading in the loft's windowed turret room surrounded by trees is such a relaxing way to spend a rainy afternoon. The beach and main part of town are only a short walk from the house. The only suggestion I have is to add a heater and/or heat lamp in the bathroom, which was quite chilly. I would love to return in the summer time.

When we got there the hot water heater didn't work and it was Monday of memorial day weekend. They somehow tracked down someone to come that day and fix it - very impressive. This house is a short walk to the beach and is tucked away in a secluded area of town.

One big error from the cleaning folks. When we got there there was NO toilet paper anywhere! Also there was no soap in any of the dispensers. The house was very clean, but the cleaning company needs to be more diligent and not forget necessaries like this.

We really enjoyed our time at Hummingbird and in Manzanita. Great Community. The Hummingbird is very eclectically decorated and designed. Its a bizarre use of space, and the deck/patio leave something to be desired. But its pet friendly, great location and budget friendly.

This property fit the bill for our party of three gals on our brief trip to Manzanita. The home has an unusual floor plan that really could accomodate eight, if all were willing to share the one bath. In our case, we needed three separate areas to sleep, which worked here. The house was clean, although the decor is a throwback to the 80s and a bit strange. Poor TV reception; good wireless. The location is close to the beach, but be prepared to walk up some steep hills on the way back.

We had a great stay in Manzanita. We picked a early week stay so it was very Quite. A leasurely walk to the beach and the main street. The house was clean and cute. My only complaint is the bathroom fan leaked water right above the toilet granted it was raining pretty hard and no beach towels might should have guessed. Overall a great stay and hope to do it again

I stayed at Hummingbird Hill for 10 days to recover from some medical procedures. I was welcomed by amazing stained glass doors and tile work and immediately felt at home. There was super fast internet available, a fully equipped kitchen, a really cool guestbook, plenty of room, funky art everywhere, extra linens...just about everything a person could hope for. The prices for this sweet little slice of heaven are a steal!
