Enjoy quality time with your special someone or an intimate group of friends at this elegant vacation home. After spending your day exploring the tide pools at Haystack Rock or the boutiques lining Hemlock Avenue, come home and enjoy the peace and quiet of your own private getaway in the lovely Tolovana Beach neighborhood.
This two bedroom, one bathroom house sits at the end of a very short street leading down to beach, giving you gorgeous ocean views from the front porch and living room's large picture windows. Watch the waves crash along the shore from the porch swing as you sip your morning coffee, or curl up on the sofa in front of the fireplace to watch a storm roll in. When you want to feel the sand between your toes, it's less than two blocks to the beach!
The living area is airy and bright, with beautiful hardwood floors and modern furnishings. Cooking enthusiasts will love the kitchen, which is spacious and open with stools for socializing and all the updated, stainless steel appliances you could desire (yes, including a dishwasher!). For longer stays, the washer and dryer makes life much more pleasant.
Each of the two bedrooms has a queen bed, making this home ideal for two couples vacationing together or a few close friends. The luxurious bathroom includes a dual-head shower and handsome tile work.
The house is licensed for a maximum of 6, however, it only has sleeping arrangements for 4, so if you plan to bring your kids or some friends, grab a couple of sleeping bags.
The house has two outdoor decks, with the front offering ocean views and the rear providing a bit more privacy and peacefulness. The house is even pet-friendly, so you can bring along your four-legged best friend to the beach for a round of Frisbee (or twelve) in the surf! A $10 nightly fee per dog applies.
Stroll along Hemlock Street to try the neighborhood favorites, such as chowder at Mo's and cinnamon rolls at Waves of Grain Bakery. Downtown Cannon Beach is about a mile away, and has an abundance of dining and shopping options. You can enjoy the walk right along the sandy beach if you'd rather not drive. For outdoor lovers, Ecola State Park's hiking trails are a must-see, and those traveling with kids will definitely want to visit nearby Seaside for the arcades, bumper cars, and indoor mini-golf.
