Nestled on a hilltop over quaint Oceanside, this two bedroom beach cabin offers some of the best views in town. The expansive deck overlooks the long sandy beach and Three Arch Rocks Wildlife Refuge just beyond. With floor-to-ceiling windows facing west, there may be no better spot to watch the sun set over the Pacific, or to watch a winter storm roll in.
The downstairs is open and bright, with a nicely equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher for easy clean-up), a six-person dining table, and a few chairs and sofa for conversation and sunset watching. When the sun streams through the windows in the late afternoon, relaxing in the living room with a good book will instantly melt your cares away!
Upstairs, the loft has a cable TV with DVD player for movie nights and two cozy sofas, still within easy sight of the beautiful views. A twin trundle bed offers space for extra guests or the kids. The bedrooms have a queen and full-sized bed, bringing the sleeping total to six. The full bathroom is downstairs.
For working vacationers, the cabin is equipped with wireless Internet, and also has some patio furniture available for an outdoor office! Bring along every family member, even the dog, for just a $10/night pet fee.
While across from the wildlife refuge, you likely won't need your binoculars to spot some unusual neighbors. From your perch in the trees, you have the perfect vantage point for spotting bald eagles, peregrine falcons, and the occasional deer. The beach itself is only half a mile away; an easy drive down to the state recreation area in town, or go by foot and enjoy a hearty workout on the climb back up to the house! Oceanside is small but very charming, with a few local cafes. Groceries and other supplies are best stocked up on in Tillamook, just a few miles inland. Visitors won't want to miss out on the area's lovely hikes, scenic drives, and historic lighthouses.
