You'll be on the quietest street in Gearhart at this two bedroom condo with an amazing view of the ocean and Tillamook Head. Whether sitting on the cozy sofa before the wood-burning fireplace or preparing meals in the well equipped kitchen, you'll be able to take in the sight of the Pacific waves rolling onto the beach. And when you walk out to stroll along the sand yourself, you'll find far fewer crowds than the more touristy towns to the south. You can walk on the beach to your left or you can drive on the beach to your right.
Inside, the condo's living area includes a cable TV and DVD player, cozy seating, and a nice wood fireplace encased in exposed brick. The living room has a sleeper sofa and a folding wall for privacy, forming the third bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals.
The master bedroom includes a queen bed and private bathroom. The second bedroom has two twins and its own TV with VCR (no cable in this room). The second bathroom and the living area's queen-sized sleeper sofa make the condo comfortable for up to six guests.
Gearhart is appreciated by longtime residents and return guests for its proximity to all the attractions of Seaside and Cannon Beach (both less than ten minutes away), but is far less crowded and more peaceful than its more touristy neighbors. The town's charming business district has enough amenities to meet any traveler's needs, including a grocery store, an excellent cafe, and a handful of antique shops. The town's own beach and nearby state parks are known for amazing sunsets, hiking, and horseback riding.
