Our returning guests appreciate having all the comforts of home (full kitchen, washer and dryer, gas grill) in their own private beach house, just a short walk through the neighborhood to the sandy shore.
This two-story house offers plenty of space for a family get-together or group of friends, but is cozy enough for a couple's retreat. The living room has a comfy sofa and a flat-screen TV with cable, just right for relaxing with some mindless entertainment on a rainy day (or, bring a book, if you prefer!). The kitchen is bright and cheery, fully equipped with everything you'll need to prepare meals and even has an island with a few bar-stools, tailor-made for guests to enjoy a glass of wine while chatting with the cook! A four-person dining table is ideal for sitting down over a homemade meal.
Upstairs, three bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements that large groups of friends will surely appreciate! Two bedrooms each have a queen bed, while the third has two sets of bunk beds. Add in the living room's convertible sofa, and there is more than enough room for eight guests. Two full bathrooms (one upstairs, one down) and a washer and dryer make sharing the space a breeze.
On sunny afternoons, the whole group can gather around the backyard's gas grill, perhaps to prepare the triumphant catch from a morning spent fishing in one of the nearby lakes! Kids will enjoy exploring the woodlands just across the street, and the house is an easy walk (less than ten minutes) from the beach. On nights when you'd rather not cook, Rockaway's restaurants are just a few minutes away. The house is also pet friendly, only $10/night per pet. Only one pet is allowed per reservation with a 35 lb limit.
