These are the kinds of tough decisions you'll face at this luxury getaway in Cannon Beach, one of the most delightful destinations along the Oregon Coast. This beautifully furnished home offers four bedrooms and four baths, brilliantly laid out to provide plenty of privacy. A few couples vacationing together can enjoy romantic moments alone, then meet up in the spacious common areas to cook dinner in the gourmet kitchen, or to watch a movie by the massive stone fireplace in the living room.
There's plenty of shopping, dining, and outdoor activities to keep the up-and-at-'em types busy, but the house provides a fantastic environment for relaxation for those who'd rather stay in with a good book and a glass of wine. And, the beach itself is just a short walk away, leading you right to the tide pools and photo ops at Haystack Rock.
The living area has vaulted ceilings, a gorgeous stone fireplace, modern furnishings, and a cable television. Large windows look out over the beach and Haystack Rock, making it the perfect place to watch a storm roll in during the winter months.
The gourmet kitchen is spacious and bright, with all the stainless-steel appliances you'd expect in an upscale vacation home. The views continue at the six-person dining table, or in warmer months, enjoy your meals outdoors on the deck overlooking Haystack Rock. It's best to agree ahead of time which lucky couple gets the master bedroom, otherwise arguments might break out once you arrive! The four-poster king bed lies before a curved wall of windows, providing stunning views of the ocean. A gas fireplace provides that extra touch of romance, and a large master bath is attached. Two chairs, positioned between the fire and the panoramic windows, may just be the best seats in the house.
The other bedrooms are interspersed on other floors throughout the house, and each has a bathroom near it, making for a more private experience for all guests. Two bedrooms have queen beds and one has two sets of bunks. A sleeping loft has two twin beds, bringing the total accommodations to twelve guests.
The outdoor spaces are fantastic, with that hot tub sitting directly in front of Haystack Rock and patio seating for sunny days. Don't leave your four-legged friends at home, either -- dogs are welcome here with just a $10/night pet fee. The beach and the town itself is remarkably dog-friendly, so bring along some tennis balls for a game of fetch in the surf.
