In the summer, enjoy golfing the 18-hole golf course, divided into the "mountain nine" and the "valley nine" for great variety. Or, you can take the gondola up the mountain and test your biking mettle on the trails and terrain features.

Northstar is also centrally located to all the attractions of the area: five minutes to Truckee, five minutes to Kings Beach and Lake Tahoe, ten minutes to Crystal Bay's historic casinos and nightlife, 15 minutes to Incline Village's dining and casino, and 30 minutes to Alpine, Squaw, and Tahoe City.
