Even though it's not an ocean view home, the closeness to the beach and miles and miles of beach create an ample realm for adventuring, and the iconic Twin Rocks to the south is a lovely backdrop for sunset photos. Downtown Rockaway Beach hosts a number of restaurants including the Whale Spout for fish and chips and clam chowder, the Cow Belle Cafe for hearty breakfasts, or take-out pizza at Upper Crust that you can enjoy at your beach house. The Sand Dollar is the only oceanfront restaurant/bar in town and has a wonderful staff and menu sure to please.
