This unique one bedroom loft is a wonderfully romantic yet affordable getaway, close to all the shops and restaurants of Government Camp. Those who like a little more peace and quiet, though, will delight in the home's location on a large private lot with two streams running past.

The loft is located above the garage of an attached home, allowing you to enjoy your own little retreat with a foosball table in the garage for rainy day fun!

The space has been brilliantly designed to accommodate up to four people, and feels larger than its 600 square feet! In the main living area, a comfy loveseat sits before a TV with DVD player for cozy movie nights.

On the opposite end of the space, the fully remodeled kitchen has all the essentials: full-sized fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, and all the pots and pans, dinnerware, and cooking utensils you might need to prepare meals. The four-person table is perfect for sharing meals or even using as a workspace (wireless Internet is also included in your stay!).

The spacious bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and a ladder leading up to the loft. Younger guests will love climbing up to their own private space each night, and two twin mattresses with fresh linens and warm blankets provide a cozy spot to sleep under the sloped wood-beam ceiling! It's almost like camping in a pup tent -- except, of course, for the nicely appointed bathroom with tub/shower combo. And if one of your extra guests prefers not to climb a ladder, the living area's love seat unfolds into a comfy sleeper sofa as well.

The loft is within easy walking distance of all the attractions in Government Camp, like freshly-brewed pints at the Ice Axe and gear rental at one of the shops in town. Skibowl, of course, is only a bit further across Highway 26, and Timberline is just a 20-minute drive away. The property also sits quite near the base of Mount Hood's historic Glade Trail for a little more out-of-the-ordinary exploration.

We needed an affordable and comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights close to Timberline Lodge for a friend's wedding, and Lindberg Loft fit the bill. My husband and I were travelling with our infant son, so the fully equipped kitchen was so helpful for storing and preparing his milk
and baby foods. The bedroom was large with plenty of room for a portable crib and our luggage.
(Note that this property doesnt provide cribs; we had to rent one in Portland.) The furnishings appear to be quite new and are nearly all from Ikea. The loft bedroom is accessed through the main bedroom via a very steep ladder. In the loft there is a gate that can be closed to prevent the occupants from accidentally falling down the ladder. You could sleep another two people up there, but given the ladder steepness I wouldn't recommend the loft bedroom for young children. Once you make a reservation Vacasa emails specific instructions about how to enter the rental. Even so, we were puzzled when we arrived about where to find the proper entrance (we didn't want to accidentally enter the owner's portion of the house). After a few minutes we figured out that the instructions were correct--we had to go "around back" on the unpaved rocky path behind the house. This was a little difficult with a large suitcase because we couldn't roll it. So, come prepared to carry your luggage a few rugged yards to a back porch and then up the stairs in the garage to reach the entrance to the unit. Overall, this was a minor inconvenience. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday when the kid is older to better enjoy some outdoor activities.

Stayed for 2 nights with our 10 month old. Pretty baby proof! The bedroom is quite large, and the loft is too. The ladder up to the loft is very steep so I'd recommend for adults or older children only. But it is extremely spacious, and you could put the two single mattresses together to make another double bed, plus a few more in sleeping bags if required :) The only negative was that the hot water heater wasn't on when we arrived and it took quite some time to figure out why we weren't getting a hot shower in the am. Vacasa staff was very helpful in resolving the problem, kudos to them as I was quite grumpy about it. The trail system access a half block away is great.

Great location for Skibowl East or West. Perfect for a ski trip with a nice kitchen and Government Camp grocery store two minutes away. We appreciate contemporary design and loved the Ikea style finishes. Living area only accommodates two people, but we weren't there to watch TV. Kitchen table seats four. The high ceilings keep it from feeling cramped. The two futons in the loft are separated by the ladder area, so even teenagers fit fine up there (our son is 13 and tall) as long as they like climbing ladders. We were worried about recurring sickness causing us to lose the whole cost of the weekend, but loved Vacasa's $30 "insurance" for just such an occurrence.

Located just off the main road, the location is perfect. A quick walk to several trails or turn the other way for town. Great new kitchen and large spacious bedroom. There is a loft with two twin mattresses on the floor (not real beds). The living area is very small and outdated. It wouldn't suit more than two people. Also, the hot tub is NOT private like the ad says. It is shared with the owners of the home and their living room looks right out on it. The place has a lot of potential but is lacking the allure of other condos in the area. For those that want a very quiet stay this is a nice spot but shop around first.
