You're only two blocks from a gorgeous, secluded stretch of beach in Arch Cape at this quiet, comfortable home. A wonderful escape for a family or a small group of beach-going friends, this house offers peek-a-boo views of the ocean and two decks where you can breathe in the fresh sea breeze.

This two-story home is part of a tranquil neighborhood in Arch Cape, ideally situated between Oswald West State Park (half a mile) and Hug Point State Recreation Site (less than two miles). It's an ideal home base for exploring the Northern Oregon Coast, whether that means hiking Cape Falcon (four miles), driving up to iconic Cannon Beach (six miles), or visiting charming Manzanita (eight miles).

Begin each morning by packing up the provided beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and snorkel gear and strolling down to the wide, uncrowded swath of sandy beach. Wander home in the afternoons to light the gas grill, gather around the table on the deck, and open a bottle of wine at sunset.

Inside, you'll find lofty ceilings, multiple skylights that let in the sunlight, and a wood-burning fireplace to toast your toes after a day spent in the ocean. Use modern kitchen appliances to cook with ease, seat your sous chefs at the island and window-side breakfast bars, and gather for meals and after-dinner puzzles at the dining room table. Spend your evenings watching movies on DVD and streaming services before retiring to one bedroom on the main floor and two bedrooms (both with balcony access) upstairs - one of which is a loft-style room with its own TV.
